Project Overview
Jan B., a homeowner in the Port Gardner area of Everett, had lived with the same dated tub-shower combo in her condo's master bathroom for years. When her neighbor Helen S. raved about her own tub-to-shower conversion with Oasis Bath Solutions, it was the local, family-owned reputation Helen described that gave Jan the confidence to finally book her own consultation. Jan wanted more than a standard shower swap: an extra-large sloped-entry shower base, a built-in bench, a corner shelf, and added safety grab bars, all behind a wide double sliding shower door.
Our crew tore out the old tub, tile, and knee wall, rebuilt a full-height wall in its place, and finished the space with a custom shower base, grout-free White Pearl wall panels, and new waterproof LVP flooring, completed in four days. The Challenge: A Dated Tub-Shower Combo in a Condo Master Bath
Working Within Condo Building Requirements
Jan's original bathroom had a standard fiberglass tub-shower combo, the kind found in most condo units of its era. It worked, but it didn't reflect how Jan actually wanted to use the space, and it wasn't accessible in the way a walk-in shower would be. Condo remodels also come with their own logistics: building access windows, elevator scheduling, and shared plumbing lines that have to be planned around before any demolition starts.
Oasis Bath Solutions has completed condo bathroom remodels across the Puget Sound region and we brought that experience directly into planning Jan's project, so building rules didn't slow down her timeline.
Before and After
Master Bath: A Fully Custom Walk-In Shower
The Result
The finished bathroom is a full transformation. The crew tore out the old tub, tile, and knee wall, then built a full-height wall in its place to support the new layout. An extra-large sloped-entry shower base anchors the room, with White Pearl wall panels sealed as continuous sheets instead of individual tiles, a built-in bench, and a 15-inch corner shelf for everyday storage. A Refuge shower system and Tru-Temp valve, both in brushed nickel, replaced the original fixtures, and two ErgoSafetyBar grab bars, 18 and 24 inches, add real safety support. A wide double sliding shower door with a return panel finishes the enclosure, and new waterproof LVP flooring ties the whole room together.

Benefits
Results of This Everett Condo Bathroom Remodel
No More Stepping Over a Tub Edge
The sloped-entry shower base replaced the old tub, so getting in and out is easier every day.
A Custom Fit, Not a Standard Box
The extra-large shower base, built-in bench, and corner shelf were built around Jan's actual room, not a stock size.
Real Safety Support
Two ErgoSafetyBar grab bars, 18" and 24", give secure support that a clamp-on option can't match.
No More Grout to Maintain
White Pearl wall panels seal as one piece, so there are no grout lines left to crack, stain, or collect mold.
Fast Turnaround
The full remodel was completed in four days, with the unit kept livable throughout.
