Alcove Bathtub Replacement

Alcove bathtubs are space‑saving tubs designed to fit into a three‑walled enclosure, making it one of the most popular bathtub styles for modern homes. Installed flush against the walls, an alcove tub maximizes floor space, provides built‑in support for shower walls or surrounds, and offers a clean, streamlined look. Perfect for small to medium bathrooms, alcove bathtubs combine functionality, affordability, and easy maintenance - making them a top choice for efficient bathroom remodels.

Tub/Shower Combo Replacement

A tub/shower combo replacement is one of the most effective ways to modernize your bathroom and improve everyday comfort. By upgrading your old or outdated combo with a new, durable bathtub and a fresh shower surround, you get improved functionality, better water efficiency, and a cleaner, more stylish look. Perfect for small and mid‑sized bathrooms, a new tub/shower combo maximizes space while providing the convenience of both bathing and showering in one. It’s a smart, cost‑effective upgrade that enhances your home’s value and daily usability.

Freestanding Tub Installation

Freestanding tubs are standalone bathtubs that create a luxurious focal point in any bathroom. Unlike built‑in tubs, freestanding tubs don’t require surrounding walls or framing, giving you more design flexibility and a modern, spa‑like aesthetic. Available in a variety of shapes, sizes, and materials, freestanding tubs offer deep soaking comfort and elevate the overall look of your space.

Drop In Tub Replacement

A drop‑in tub is a versatile bathtub designed to “drop” into a custom-built deck or surround, creating a clean, seamless look in your bathroom. Because the tub is supported by the surrounding structure rather than its own walls, homeowners have endless options for styling, materials, and placement. Drop‑in tubs are popular for their deep soaking comfort, flexible design, and ability to blend beautifully with both modern and traditional bathroom layouts. They’re an excellent choice for those looking to combine luxury, customization, and functionality in a bath remodel.

Deep soaking tubs are designed with extra depth to let you fully submerge and enjoy a relaxing, spa‑like bathing experience. Offering greater water capacity and ergonomic contours, these tubs allow for true full‑body immersion - perfect for easing stress, soothing sore muscles, and creating a peaceful retreat at home. Deep soaking tubs combine comfort, luxury, and modern design, making them a popular upgrade for homeowners who want a more therapeutic and rejuvenating bathroom space.

Benefits

Why work with Oasis for my bathtub replacement project?

A bathtub replacement project can elevate a bathroom and provide a space for soaking and relaxation. At Oasis Bath Solutions, we pride ourselves on providing excellent quality bathtubs to fit any need or style alongside our factory trained installation services! Every replacement includes factory-trained installation, high-quality hardware, and a lifetime warranty on labor and materials.

High Quality Tubs

Not all tubs are built the same, and they don't all provide the same performance. Cheap, thin plastic tubs available online or in hardware stores are susceptible to cracking, peeling and chipping. At Oasis, we offer only high quality, lifetime warrantied bathtubs made from thick, durable materials that are built to last!

Thermal Efficiency

High Thermal Ratings

Thinly constructed tubs also provide little or no insulation for the water, meaning that after you fill up the tub, the water starts to cool down rapidly preventing you from enjoying a relaxing hot water soak. Our tubs all come with an insulation/reinforcement layer that helps to keep the water warmer, longer.

Space-Maximizing Design

Many tubs that are marketed as "soaking tubs" or "deep soakers" may have a very high skirt, but if you look at the schematics, the actual soaking depth is nearly identical to standard height tubs. The measurement that matters is the distance from the drain to the bottom of the overflow, this is referred to as "soaking depth". Our tubs maximize this space so get the most from whichever tub you choose.

Superior Fixtures and Trim

One aspect of bathtub replacement that is often overlooked is the hardware - things like the tub spout, drain and overflow and valve. Many of the options available at the hardware stores are low quality and not designed to last, they also don't match the styles of the different parts. At Oasis, we carry only top quality tub hardware such as metal pop-up drains that allow for easy opening and closing of the drain; and Hammerhead all metal shower and bath fixtures that are designed and warrantied for life.

It is also important to keep in mind that in most cases, when you change out your bathtub, you will need to replace the surround above it as well as the plumbing fixtures. At Oasis, we offer a 1-stop shop service that can handle all aspects of your bathtub replacement project.

Our process

Our simple remodel process

We guide you through a clear 3-step design-build bathroom remodeling process, whether you are planning a full bathroom remodel, a walk-in shower upgrade, a tub-to-shower conversion, or a focused wet-area renovation.

Step 1: Consultation, Design & Material Selection

Every project starts with a conversation, not a sales pitch. We sit down with you, look at your current bathroom, and listen to what isn't working about it. From there we talk through whether you need a full remodel, a shower-focused update, a tub-to-shower conversion, new flooring, a new vanity, or more storage.

We'll also walk you through material options together: shower walls, bases, glass, fixtures, vanities, countertops, flooring, and safety features. Our team takes careful measurements and puts together drawings and scope notes, so everyone on the project, including you, knows exactly what to expect before any work begins.

We keep this part simple and low-pressure. You'll get clear recommendations and honest guidance, not upsells, built around your home, your budget, and how you actually want to live in the space.

Step 2: Installation & Build-Out

Once everything is planned out, our own installers, not a rotating crew of subcontractors, get to work. Before anything starts, we protect the surrounding areas of your home and walk you through what's about to happen.

Depending on your project, this can include demolition, plumbing work, shower base and wall installation, vanity replacement, flooring, drywall, storage, fixtures, and final accessories. On a full remodel, we make sure the shower, vanity, flooring, and layout all come together as one finished room instead of a set of separate updates.

Whatever the scope, from a single shower conversion to a full teardown, we treat your home the way we'd want ours treated: cleanly, carefully, and with real attention to the small details that make a bathroom pleasant to use every day.

Step 3: Final Inspection & Walkthrough

When the work is done, we clean up completely and walk through the finished bathroom with you, not past it. We check the shower, fixtures, vanity, flooring, and every small detail together, and we don't consider the job finished until you do.

This is also when we answer any care and maintenance questions, go over your warranty, and make sure you feel confident using your new bathroom every day, not just impressed by it on the walkthrough.

Bathtub Replacement Experience Across the Eastside

Replacing a bathtub involves more decisions than most homeowners expect - not just which tub style, but whether the existing surround can stay, what plumbing adjustments are needed, and how the new tub integrates with the rest of the bathroom. We scope all of that during the free in-home consultation so the project estimate is accurate before any work begins.

Every bathtub replacement includes removal of the existing tub, surround inspection and replacement if needed, plumbing fixture updates, and a final walkthrough to confirm everything is installed correctly. We carry only high-quality tubs and Hammerhead all-metal fixtures - not hardware store materials that crack, chip, or corrode within a few years.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a bathtub replacement take?

Most bathtub replacements are completed in one to two days. Projects requiring plumbing adjustments, surround replacement, or structural modifications may take longer. We provide a clear timeline before work begins.

Do I need to replace the surround when I replace the bathtub?

In most cases, yes. When a bathtub is removed, the wall surround above it is typically damaged or incompatible with a new tub's dimensions. We inspect the surround during the consultation and include replacement in the project scope if needed. All new surrounds use grout-free Sentrel or Tyvarian wall systems.

What types of bathtubs do you install?

We install alcove bathtubs, tub/shower combos, freestanding tubs, drop-in tubs, and deep soaking tubs. Each type suits different bathroom layouts and lifestyle needs. We walk you through the options during the free in-home consultation.

What fixtures do you use for bathtub replacements?

We use Hammerhead all-metal shower and bath fixtures on every project. These include metal pop-up drains, tub spouts, and valves — all warranted for life. We do not use hardware store fixtures that are prone to corrosion and early failure.

Can you replace just the bathtub without remodeling the entire bathroom?

Yes. A focused bathtub replacement is one of our most common projects. We remove the existing tub, address the surround and plumbing as needed, and install the new tub without disrupting the rest of the bathroom.

What warranty do you provide on bathtub replacements?

Oasis Bath Solutions provides a lifetime warranty covering both labor and materials on all bathtub replacement installations, including the tub, surround, and all fixtures.
